It’s been my first full week in the swing of a new career and things couldn’t be going better. A serious thank you to everyone who has supported me up to this point and continues to do so. I’m working hard on my art and really trying to improve. I’m really starting to study the works of Joe Mad, Scott Campbell, and Greg Capulo. I’ve learned a few useful tricks in Procreate and will be working with coloring this upcoming week.
What I’m Playing
I think I’ve finally hit the breaking point with FFXIV. I’ve been grinding hard and long, and I think it’s finally catching up. In hopes of breaking up the routine, I tried a sampling of new games. Zone of the Enders broke my heart, Voidtrain was a letdown, Mortal Shell was too hard, but HuniePop 2 and Black Ops Cold War Zombies have been an absolute delight.
What I’m Watching
I finished season 2 of Titans and am almost caught up with the current season. Last night, our family movie was Ponyo, and today we took in Jungle Cruise. All in all, it’s been a very good week for television and movies. I should hopefully have some reviews up early this week.
