Aha! We’re on time this week! Now if I only knew what to say during these intros.

What I’m Playing

Mostly Destiny 2. The Iron Banner is back and it brought the “Iron Lord” title with it. It also, unfortunately, brought Rift with it. Rift is simply not enjoyable to play. But, I REALLY want this title, so I’m forcing myself to suffer through it. I have 6/7 parts done and plan on taking today to get the last done before the weekly reset.

I signed on with a new clan and we’re actually doing stuff! It’s been fun to run the old raids and actually interact with like-minded people.

What I’m Watching

We finally started season three of The Boys and I forgot how absurdly good this show is. But it’s reaching an uncomfortable level with Homelander. But that’s a telltale sign of excellent writing. I am uncomfortable when he’s on-screen because he’s a truly awful human being.

On the other side of that, you have another awful human being, Butcher, who you’re mostly rooting for because he seems to be the only one capable of stopping Homelander.

We’ve been spoiled by being able to binge content, so this week-to-week release is going to be rough for a while.

Other than that, I finished season one of Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. It was super good and Barbatos is really pushing to be my favorite mobile suit. Tallgeese has some serious competition.

What I’m Reading

More Batman. All this build-up of him getting married to Catwoman and it doesn’t even happen!? Go fuck yourself. This was their chance to do something truly spectacular and they balk at the last moment.

Beyond that, I need to start reading The Nice House on the Lake for a club I’ve recently joined. I have zero idea what it’s about, but I’m hoping for horror.
